1. Grilling Safety = Win
There’s nothing like the smell of burgers and ribs on the grill when the weather starts to cool off across Southeast Georgia. Just be sure to:
- Keep your grill at least 10 feet from your house or deck railings.
- Never leave it unattended (the Dawgs might be driving down the field, but check that grill!).
- Have a fire extinguisher or water source nearby—just in case.
2. Watch Out for Party Fumbles
If you’re the one hosting friends, remember you’re also responsible for what happens on your property. A few quick tips:
- Keep walkways and yards clear so no one trips carrying that plate of wings.
- If you’re serving alcohol, keep an eye out—make sure your guests get home safe.
- Remind folks to have a designated driver or call a rideshare.
